The Faculty of Dentistry of Universitas Syiah Kuala (FKG USK) has established a new leadership structure to accelerate institutional performance and expand strategic partnerships across the ASEAN region. The Rector of Universitas Syiah Kuala officially appointed three vice deans to support the Dean of FKG USK for the 2026–2031 term, Dr. drg. Zulfan M. Alibasyah, Sp.Perio.
The newly appointed vice deans are Dr. drg. Dewi Saputri, Sp.Perio as Vice Dean for Academic Affairs; Ir. Subhaini, S.Si., M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Human Resources and Finance, and drh. Abdillah Imron Nasution, M.Si., Ph.D. as Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Partnerships.
The appointments mark an important step in strengthening the faculty’s organizational structure following the election of Dr. Zulfan M. Alibasyah as Dean of FKG USK for the 2026–2031 period. Under his leadership, the faculty is committed to realizing the vision of becoming an “Excellent, Innovative Dentopreneur with ASEAN Impact.”
In his remarks, the Rector of Universitas Syiah Kuala emphasized the importance of achieving the University’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), improving services for students and faculty members, and ensuring efficient, transparent, and accountable financial management.
These objectives serve as essential benchmarks for measuring the faculty’s performance while contributing to the overall institutional achievements of Universitas Syiah Kuala.
Dean of FKG USK, Dr. drg. Zulfan M. Alibasyah, Sp.Perio, expressed his confidence that the newly appointed vice deans, each leading different strategic areas, would strengthen the faculty’s governance in academic affairs, human resources, financial management, student affairs, alumni relations, and institutional partnerships.
“With this strong leadership team, we are optimistic that FKG USK will move forward more rapidly in realizing our vision of becoming an Excellent, Innovative Dentopreneur with ASEAN Impact,” said Dr. Zulfan following the inauguration on Thursday, 6 August 2026.
The leadership agenda for the 2026–2031 period will focus on strengthening cross-sector collaboration, improving key performance achievements, and expanding strategic partnerships at both the national and international levels.
These initiatives also form an integral part of the 100-Day Action Plan of the Dean of FKG USK for the 2026–2031 term.
