![[3 rd ACEH INTERNATIONAL DENTAL MEETING]
Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Syiah Kuala telah melaksanakan kegiatan 3rd Aceh International Dental Meeting (AIDeM). Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk membangun kolaborasi antara dunia kedokteran gigi dengan industri Internasional serta meningkatkan pengetahuan teknologi pada bidang kedokteran gigi yang berfokus pada pengembangan inovasi dan teknologi terkini di bidang kedokteran gigi.
Acara tersebut berlangsung pada tanggal 6-7 Oktober 2023 dan dibuka oleh Wakil Rektor Bidang Akademik USK Prof. Dr. Ir. Agussabti, M.Si di Ball Room Hotel Permata Hati.
Sejumlah pakar kedokteran gigi turut hadir pada kegiatan ini, diantaranya Dr. Yuhanis Ahmad Yaziz (Malaysia), Assoc. Prof. Rashid Tahir,B.D.S., M.Sc (Singapura), Prof. Dr. Supontep Teerakanok (Thailand), drg. Andy Wirahadikusumah, Sp.Pros (Universitas Trisakti), drg. Yusuf Bagus Pamungkas Sp.KG (Universitas Airlangga), Dr. rer. Medic., dr. M. Ichwan M.Sc, Sp. KKLP (Universitas Sumatera Utara), Dr. drg. Irene Adyatmaka (Universitas Maranatha), drg. Teuku Ahmad Arbi, Sp.BM (Universitas Syiah Kuala), Dr. drg. Zulfan M. Alibasyah, Sp.Perio (Universitas Syiah Kuala).
Dekan FKG USK Dr. drg. Cut Soraya, M.Pd., Sp.KG mengatakan, AIDeM merupakan agenda rutin FKG USK yang tahun ini mengangkat tema “Bridging Better Collaborations Between Dental Professional and Industry".
Beliau menilai, kegiatan ini menjadi momentum yang baik bagi para dosen, dokter gigi, dan peneliti untuk meningkatkan keilmuannya.
"Dengan semakin berkembanganya teknologi, dokter gigi juga harus berkolaborasi dengan sektor industri untuk mengembangkan produk inovasi khususnya di bidang kedokteran gigi,” ucapnya.
