The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Syiah Kuala (FKG USK), has once again successfully organized the National Competency Test Try Out for Dental Professional Education Students (UKOMNASPPDG) Period III, Year 2026.
The event took place over two consecutive days, from July 25 to July 26, 2026, at the FKG USK campus. This try out was specifically designed to evaluate readiness and sharpen the competencies of professional-stage students ahead of the official national examination.
Examination Structure
To closely mirror the standards of the actual national exam, the assessment was divided across two days:
Day One (July 25, 2026): Conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) to evaluate the cognitive aspects and medical theories of dentistry.
Day Two (July 26, 2026): Conducted via Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) to assess practical clinical skills, communication, and diagnostic precision directly.
Thorough Preparation for the National Exam
Before participating in this try out series, the participants received intensive preparatory coaching. The faculty, through supervising lecturers from each examined field of study, provided comprehensive guidance.
Through this combination of academic mentoring and rigorous exam simulation, FKG USK hopes that students will face the upcoming UKOMNASPPDG with high confidence, a mature mastery of the material, and achieve satisfying passing results.
