Monday, November 24, 2025, Darussalam – The Faculty of Dentistry at Syiah Kuala University once again held the Graduation Ceremony and Oath of Dental Graduates for the 4th Period and the Oath of Dentists for the 49th Batch. A total of 8 dental medicine graduates participated in the graduation ceremony and oath-taking, while 5 dental medicine professionals took the dental doctor oath.
The dental oath ceremony, graduation ceremony, and pledge ceremony were witnessed by the USK Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Entrepreneurship, the USK FKG Senate, representatives from the Indonesian Dental Association (Aceh), and the parents/guardians of the graduates.
The Dean of the USK Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. drg. Cut Soraya, M.Pd., Sp.KG., directly congratulated the graduates and expressed her pride in them for their efforts in achieving success in their studies. She also hoped that the dental graduates would serve the community, nation, and country in accordance with the oath they had taken. Meanwhile, for the dental science graduates, the Dean of the USK Faculty of Dentistry enthusiastically encouraged them to continue on to the dental profession. “This is the time for you to implement your knowledge, interact with patients, and shape your professional character as prospective dentists,” he said to the dental graduates. The dental oath-taking and graduation ceremony, as well as the dental graduate pledge, took place solemnly and emotionally. The dental graduates who took the oath are entitled to the title of Doctor of Dental Surgery, and those who were conferred their degrees and made their pledges are entitled to the title of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. This joyful event concluded with congratulatory remarks from the Faculty Dean, the Faculty Senate, and the guests in attendance, followed by a group photo.
