Skill’s Laboratory of Basic Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, Syiah Kuala University is a laboratory that functions as a support for the Dentistry Education Study Program. In general, Skill’s Laboratory facilitates the Dentistry Education Study Program to produce graduates in accordance with the competencies determined in the Competencies and Curriculum of the Faculty of Dentistry. The facilities owned by the Skill’s Laboratory of Basic Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry, USK consist of:
- Basic dentistry laboratory to deepen understanding of human anatomy, histology, and physiology.
- Dental simulator laboratory to support skills in dental practice in the fields of conservation science, pedodontics, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Dental material laboratory to support practice in the field of dental materials
- Microbiology laboratory to support practice activities for microbiology, bacteria and fungi in the field of dentistry
- Biomolecular laboratory to support biomolecular practice activities for dentistry.
- Radiology laboratory to support skills in intraoral dental radiology.
