JDS (Journal of Syiah Kuala Dentistry Society)

JDS (Journal of Syiah Kuala Dentistry Society) is a biannually publication for all those involved in the fields of Dentistry. This journal provides opportunities for academicians, researchers, and practitioners who wish to communicate the research findings in the area of technology and the development of science in dentistry, health science applications, and integrated correlations.

JDS (Journal of Syiah Kuala Dentistry Society) published regularly twice a year (June and December) online since 2016. From 2020 on, the editors accept only a manuscript written in English. Therefore, the editors welcome the original unpublished manuscripts in general dentistry and the following topics but not limited to Cariology, Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology, Conservative Dentistry, Dental Biomaterial, Dental Education, Dental Traumatology, Endodontics, Oral Pathology, Oral biology, and any related topics.

JDS (Journal of Syiah Kuala Dentistry Society) publishes research results, review articles, and case reports and organizes correspondence. All of these studies’ findings must be related to the advancement of dentistry and o strengthen the prevention and control of dental diseases. The research prioritizes the utilization of natural medicinal plant resources for therapeutic purposes.

To preserve the integrity of publication quality, JDS is constantly working to enhance service quality through a robust review system. A globally-renowned indexer is anticipated to index JDS within the next two years. JDS is currently indexed by SINTA (Sinta 5, 2020-2025), the Indonesian Scientific Journal Indexer, where we continue to aspire for a higher SINTA ranking and development.
